cVIGIL Investigator app enables field units such as Flying Squads and Static Surveillance teams to investigate cases reported by citizens and carry out Suo-Motu case reporting. These cases involve complaints from citizens regarding violations of the Model Code of Conduct or Expenditure regulations, which are submitted through the cVIGIL App and then assigned to the relevant field unit upon authorization from the District Controller. Each complaint includes geographical coordinates provided by the Global Positioning System to assist the unit in pinpointing the location of the incident for investigation purposes. Upon completion of the investigation, the field team submits a status report along with evidence to the respective Returning Officer.
